„What’s wrong with you?“ – english version

„What’s wrong with you?“

My son used to ask me this more than 10 years ago in his teens when he was already taller than me.

It’s a teenage way of saying:

„Dad, I disagree with you.“

I used to say in those situations:

„You know, that’s exactly what I’m thinking all the time!“

Unfortunately, now I’m asking myself the same thing.

„What’s wrong with me?“

We recently went to a great play that is more like a performance by a wonderful actress with a different guest at each performance.

The play is easier to understand than the last sentence.

There are only about 70 chairs in the small „studio“ and it is always sold out.

Apparently „sold out“ also applies to men, because there were only 6 of them, including me.

That’s less than 10% men.

I’m a mathematician, so I can estimate that.

The play is called „Mare’s Bite„.

Then I went to the movie „Poison“ with the best wife I’ve ever had.

It’s by Desiree Nosbusch.

It’s a great movie, everything flows.

Tears, river, rain, coffee, two people and it’s set in a cemetery.

90 minutes.

If you count the walk to the cemetery.

Unfortunately, Desiree who was there infected me, but I’d rather have that than George Clooney.

„There“ in the movie theater, not „there“ in the cemetery, man.

I think she’s great even „with“.

So with a cold and with a cemetery movie.

In the cinema it was also under 10% men!

I’ve been to „Conclave“ twice, once alone and once with my younger, small child of 1.78m.

She loved that movie!

After all, there were a lot of men with very old, wrinkled hands walking through the movie.

A movie for men.

But only on the screen.

You guessed it, there weren’t 15% men in the theater either.

Do men have to pay more to go to the movies? Just like women have to pay more at the hairdresser’s even though they have just as much hair?

And because of these low male quotas, I keep asking myself:

„What’s wrong with me?“

–

Unfortunately, I also ask myself:

„What’s wrong with the world?“

The little black dog, Miss Moneypenny, pooped twice yesterday at the marina.

The first time right in front of the „Liberty„.

He understands a lot, this dog, he knows what’s going on.

He poops symbolically.

Then he dropped the „rearguard“, the small remainder, 20 meters away on the cobblestones.

It was right in front of another motor yacht.

It’s called „Heaven Can Wait„.

This dog is a philosopher.

That’s it, I still have to order tickets for „Heldin“ and „Wunderschöner„.

It’s also International Women’s Day.
